Our hurricane-impact pivot doors are engineered for South Florida’s High Velocity Hurricane Zone and certified under Florida Product Approval FL#28370 — rated at +65/−65 PSF design pressure and tested to TAS 201, 202 and 203, in sizes up to 81″ wide by 147¾″ tall. That means a true oversized pivot entrance, in solid wood, without giving up Miami-Dade compliance.

Each door is custom-built to your opening: choose your wood, finish, glazing and hardware, and we provide the NOA documents and CAD drawings your contractor needs for permitting. Browse the designs below, or send us your architect’s drawing — every model shown can be built to your dimensions.

Hurricane-rated, FL28370

Impact-tested to ±65 PSF for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone. We supply the NOA documents and CAD drawings your contractor needs.

Solid mahogany, 3″ to 4″ thick

Staved engineered core, finished on all six sides before it leaves the factory. Stable in coastal humidity, sun and salt air.

Two 5-point locking systems

One on each side of the door, ten locking points in total. Compatible with our smart lock with fingerprint keypad.

FAQ

Before you choose a design.

Can any of these designs be built in a different size?

Yes. Every design is built to your opening, up to 147¾″ tall and 81″ wide as a pivot. Plank counts, groove spacing and pull length are adjusted to the final size.

Can I change the finish or the glass?

Yes. Five standard finishes — Clear, Butternut, Dark Oak, Mahogany and Espresso — plus custom color matching. Sidelites, transoms and glass inserts are configured per design.

Are all of these hurricane-rated?

Every pivot is engineered under Florida Product Approval FL28370 (+65 / −65 PSF, TAS 201/202/203). Specific glass configurations are confirmed at the drawing stage.

What is the lead time?

Approximately 9 to 12 weeks of production once CAD drawings are approved, paperwork is signed and the 65% deposit clears.

What comes with the door?

The finished door with its pivot hardware and two 5-point locking systems, plus CAD drawings and the engineering documentation for permitting.

Do you install?

We install ourselves in South Florida. Elsewhere, the door ships crated to your job site with drawings and specifications for your contractor, and we support the installer by phone.
