The Karlstad is a mahogany door in a honey stain with ten narrow horizontal glass lites stacked from top to bottom between slim rails, so the door reads like a glass louver; a lever handle sits on the lock stile. Photographed installed in a white wall with palms reflected in the lites.
Built as a hinged outswing entry door in solid mahogany, it can be specified with Florida Product Approval FL16326 for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone — up to 50½″ × 122½″ as a single door or 74½″ × 122¾″ as a pair — or on pivot hardware under FL28370 up to 144″ × 81″. Sidelites and transoms are built as part of the same tested assembly with laminated impact glass. Laminated impact glass; clear, frosted or reeded.
