Taybooto with Metal In-Lay
Part of our Pivot Doors collection →
The flush Taybooto slab in a matte charcoal finish with a slim metal inlay running beside the pull — a dark, precise pivot door for a stone-and-glass entry.
This Taybooto adds one detail to the flush slab: a thin metal inlay let into the face along the lock stile, running the height of the door beside the full-length bar pull. The inlay sits flush with the wood, so from a distance the door reads as a single dark plane, and up close the metal line gives it a machined, architectural edge.
Shown in a matte charcoal finish between two clear glass sidelites, set into a rough-cut stone portal with a lit concrete canopy — the dark slab is the calm center of a very textured facade. The same design in a natural mahogany stain turns the inlay into a bright accent against warm wood.
Built on pivot hardware, the door can be made up to 144″ tall and 81″ wide under Florida Product Approval FL28370, hurricane-rated for the High Velocity Hurricane Zone with two 5-point lock sets. Inlay metal (stainless, black or brass) and width are specified per project. The slab is built 3″ thick in solid mahogany.
